An Off Board Battery Charger is included with all rentals.
Renters must fully complete and agree to Mobility Equipment Rental Agreement. Bottom of agreement (with Credit Card Information) can be detached and returned to customer and/or shredded upon the return of the equipment. Top of agreement is saved for our records.
Public Art Tour Rate is only available to those taking the Public Art Tour.
We primarily rent Pride Scooters in 3 or 4 wheel configurations that are rated for a maximum weight capacity of 275-300lbs and a range of 10-13 miles. Scooters with a higher weight capacity and/or range are available and may incur an additional fee. Our Scooters are easy to break down for transport with the heaviest piece being 30-50 lbs depending on model.
Overview on operation and disassembly is provided.
Customer can apply cost of day or weekly rental towards the purchase of a new scooter for 30 days. Rent to buy options can be applied to rentals lasting longer than a month on a case by case basis to account for differing circumstances.
All rates are for in-store pickup. Delivery is billed at $45 per hour beginning at the time of departure of our Hudson Valley Headquarters located at 35 Main St. Suite 322 Poughkeepsie, N.Y. 12601 to time of return. Longer term rentals maybe entitled free pickup depending on location.
